about this new release from the house of Christian Dior?

Dior Sauvage EDP
It opens up very similar to the original Dior Sauvage EDT. The average nose will not be able to detect any difference. The opening is not that loud compared with the EDT who punches you straight in the nose with ambroxan. It’s only in the mid where the differences really become prominent. EDT is still loud and proud while EDP becomes more tamed and richer because of the vanilla and star anise. On the drydown, ambroxan is still very prominent but again, very calm and tamed because of the vanilla.
If you are the type of person who wants to get noticed, who wants to project, go for the EDT. If you are the more mature, more reserved type of person, go for the EDP. I don’t recommend having both because it will be redundant.

Edp, for winter, it’s gorgeous in the cool air. Edt, for everything else. That star anise gives it some depth.

I bought the edp after completely passing on the edt. Such subtle differences made such an impact to the overall experience of wearing it.

EDP is a monster. I walked into a room and this person smelled me from 7 feet away. I put it on 2 hours prior to walking into that room ?
