  1. Daniel Faulkner says:

    Vintage: Yes
    Modern: No

  2. Marci Szigeti says:

That doesn’t make any sense. The vintage is not that different. Both are fresh scents that are not really suitable for the cold weather, more like for summer.

  3. Daniel Faulkner says:

Marci, they might as well be different scents. It was heavily reformed in 2014. The vintage had a smokiness to it that is completely absent in the new batches. I wore Aventus in the winter in Anchorage, AK, and it performed great.

  4. Girisha Alexander Wyatt says:

I have 2016 stuff and it works just fine for winter, for me. Most fragrances are’t easy to smell on someone outside, in the freezing cold but when I am inside, people smell it within an arms length.

  5. Paolo Ezio says:

I can’t wear Aventus in temps less than 50 degrees. Don’t care of it’s vintage or not. Rather wear my heavy hitters under 50

  6. Will Chung says:

I put away the Aventus during the winter but I believe it’s strong enough for all year conditions.

  7. Christophe Gallant says:

I’m one of those guys who feels that Aventus is a winter only frag.

  8. Igor Kipnis says:

    No clear winner it’s 50/50

  9. Paolo Ezio says:

It’s honestly good all year but I prefer the tobacco/leather/amber/oud scents for less than 50 degrees
