sales assosiates never push chanel fragrances. Does someone know why?

Have you guys noticed that sales assosiates never push chanel fragrances. Does someone know why? Maybe they dont get commission on those or something

    Yeah i know but in the mens fragrance section in my local department store , sales assosiates always push versace ,d&g, ysl , paco rabanne etc. but when i buy a chanel bottle they seem sad lol

    I’m guessing cos that’s what the younger crowds are wearing and so they wanna sell those to you

    I think that is it, Chanel sells itself. Even in the largest department store in NL they dont push. They are quite on the background, but friendly.

    I remember working at Macy’s. Chanel basically sold itself. We never had to “push” Chanel.
