So here is my verdict after testing Sauvage EDP

So here is my verdict after testing Sauvage EDP for the first time…. Versace Dylan Blue tried to clone Sauvage EDT. That pissed off Dior. So now Dior cloned Dylan Blue with their Sauvage EDP! ? I am glad I didn’t blind buy the EDP because it is giving me a headache the same way Dylan Blue did. This is a HUGE flop just like Very Cool Spray!

Those are exactly my thoughts bro.

  2. Mychal Cure says:

    Nice. You know what’s up

  3. Mark Iliff says:

Nooo the edp smells great..It may not have been a ground breaking realse but you can’t deny it smells good.

  4. Mychal Cure says:

It’s so repetitive! Why drop another release that is basically the same thing as the OG and other frags with this same dna? Dumb!

  5. Mark Iliff says:

I found it different enough.. I never l8ked the edt but I loved the edp as soon as a first sniffed it…

  6. Tiffany Hall says:

The opening smells better on edp but once top is gone you have an exact replica of the edt. Imho

  7. Mychal Cure says:

Tiffany Hall that’s pretty much the only difference to me is the top notes… you will either like them better or worse… then it’s pretty much the same fragrance.

I like the opening of the EDT more ?

  8. Ryan Thompson says:

Naaa. Dylan Blue is still the worst

  9. Padraig Pod Mulvenna says:

Smells like shaving foam to me although I don’t mind it

  10. Mychal Cure says:

I can’t stand Dylan Blue bro!

  11. Ryan Thompson says:

What kind of performance were you guys getting out of the EDT? I don’t remember from the decant I had last year. But today was my first time wearing the EDP and it’s still going strong 12 hrs later. (2 sprays from a decant)

  12. Padraig Pod Mulvenna says:

About the same the EDT is beast

  13. Mychal Cure says:

I have three bottles of EDT from release year and they are absolutely beast mode! I only go two sprays! Lasts all day

  14. Ryan Thompson says:

Then what was the point of the EDP? lol

  15. Padraig Pod Mulvenna says:

I predict a reformulation. Not sure if Dior are known for them? Personally I think that’s where the disappointment comes from. If the performance was weak people would of been glad to have something that smells better(like the one EDP) but because it was already beast people where hoping for something more out of the box.

  16. Mychal Cure says:

Padraig Pod Mulvenna like what they did with Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit EDP

  17. Padraig Pod Mulvenna says:

Personally I haven’t actually tried either to be honest one on the list to try but not near the top!

  18. Narada James says:

    I like it, quite a bit. ?

  19. Mychal Cure says:

Different strokes for different folks Narada ?

Did you like the EDT as well?

  20. Narada James says:

Mychal Cure Barely! I respect the edt, I think Sauvage is a home run through and through. Not for the snobs in the game, but neither is 90% of designers. My mind changed after I smelled it on a friend, blew my mind.

  21. Marcus Moore says:

All these men’s fragrances smell the same

  22. Mychal Cure says:

    Starting to look that way.

  23. Mychal Cure says:

To me this is like a Creed Batch variation! ?

  24. Ryan Thompson says:

Not having the EDT anymore, the EDP is hitting the spot right now. I wouldn’t have both in my collection for any reason because this EDP gives me the same feeling the EDT did. I’d just pick one and be happy.

Btw, Dylan Blue and Prada Carbon weren’t as good and were harsher and cheaper smelling to me.

  25. Tara Kathleen says:

I need to smell the edp… I don’t like Dylan Blue either.

  26. Mychal Cure says:

Report back what you think ?

  27. Dahaji Mcmillion says:

Not necessarily in my opinion. Don’t like Dylan blue and Sauvage edp is very nice in cold or cool weather. It’s not screaming like the edt and that star anise adds some nice warmth to it. If I had a choice, I would have bought the edp first.

  28. Mike Gillespie says:

Agreed. I have a 100ml EDP. And it’s exactly how I would of changed the edt. Now this one doesn’t give me a headache and lasts even longer than the original. The star anise and vanilla is a nice addition.

  29. Dahaji Mcmillion says:

I’m 45 and edp’s just seem better now. More refined, youthful scent with maturity, and they last for me almost all day.

  30. Oscar Vee says:

I can’t stand the EDT but the EDP boy! ?

  31. Goran Grivčić says:

It’s why Dior made what they made. EDP is so close to the EDT but with added stuff and they added a pinch of it, to please all the ppl who disliked EDT but still kept it close enough so that the EDT lovers could wear it too. To me, it was one helluva move.

  32. Oluwatayo Sampson says:

Sauvage Edt gave me headache so not surprised at the outcome of the Edp ?‍♂️

  33. Rod Figaro says:

Different folks, different strokes… The Sauvage EDP rocks. I like it much better than the EDT, especially for being more mature, more elegant, classier, richer, a little longer lasting. It also smells awesome.

  34. Dahaji Mcmillion says:

    It shines in cold weather
